This seminar offers an overview of culinary habits and cuisine in the UK from the rigorous rationing of the early post WWII period to the issues raised by both under/over and malnourishment today. It will cover factors like immigration, the food industry (production, distribution, eateries), celebrity chefs, fads and crazes.
