Teaching positions

Corporate English Teachers (Freelance Basis) 

We are looking to expand our network of highly-motivated and experienced freelance teachers to deliver Business English, EAP and ESP courses to a large and varied client base across Italy. 

Role requirements 

  • A university degree (e.g. BA, BSc) 
  • CELTA/DELTA, Trinity TESOL, or equivalent teaching qualification 
  • C2 level of English (can provide certification on request) 
  • Minimum 2 years’ corporate teaching experience at all levels
  • Experience in course programme design and placement level testing  
  • Ability to plan, deliver and evaluate corporate courses 
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills 
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office suite and video conferencing platforms 
  • Right to live and work in Italy (If you are a UK citizen, you will either need to hold dual nationality with another EU state or have a Permesso di Soggiorno) 
  • Demonstrates interest in continuous professional development 

 Preferred skills/experience

  • Experience in working in finance, insurance, legal and/or energy sectors
  • Knowledge of IELTS/Cambridge ESOL exams 
  • Experience teaching university pre-sessional programmes

IELTS Invigilators

We are currently looking for suitably qualified individuals to join our freelance team (collaboratori occasionali) of local invigilators (test personnel) for IELTS in Milano, Bergamo, Bologna, Brescia, Firenze, Genova, Pavia, Trento, Trieste, Treviso, Udine e Verona.

DETAILS

WORKING HOURS

Invigilators typically work between 5 and 9 hours at any given IELTS test session. 

CLOSING DATE 24/02/2023

HOW TO APPLY

Applicants must be 21 years old, based in Milano, Bergamo, Bologna, Brescia, Firenze, Genova, Pavia, Trento, Trieste, Treviso, Udine e Verona and must be able to demonstrate: 

  • CEFR level B2 levels of spoken and written English (preferably Certificate)
  • spoken Italian (native speaker or CEFR level C2)
  • reliability and punctuality
  • willingness to Travel
  • effective teamworking/organisational skills
  • cultural awareness
  • an ability to work well under pressure

We will contact suitable applicants by 28/02/2023 to invite them to a group interview. After this, they will be asked to attend a live training. We will provide a training online and will ask them to provide us with a copy of their casellario giudiziale before they start working on test days.

The group interview will be held on Monday 06/03/2023 using Teams. After the interviews, successful applicants will have to attend the live training on the same day.
