The session offers an indepth study of Bob Dylan’s song A Hard Rain’s A-Gonna Fall, and shows how this complex piece of folk-based song writing resonates with a wide range of powerful recalls - the Bible, Dante’s Divine Comedy, medieval ballads, Blake's London and Coleridge's Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner, and draws from them to trace out a tentative path of redemption for humanity.
