Edward Bond's Lear
Edward Bond rewrites the story of King Lear as a political epic exposing the violence inherent in unjust societies. This seminar presents and discusses the new Italian staging of this disquieting play almost fifty years after its first shock appearance in London. It then goes on to illustrate various associated initiatives entitled “Linee di Confine”.
