Macbeth: portraying performances
The larger-than-life characters from Macbeth, the swinging between the natural and supernatural, have long attracted artists to metamorphose them into pictures and portraits. This seminar follows their styles, perceptions and interpretations from Füssli and Blake onwards as they record changing tastes in characterization and performance. Suggestions will also be made for using the material in CLIL structured lessons.
