British writer and journalist Maya Jaggi launches a series of conversations with world leading representatives of the cultural world at the Sounds of the Gulf Festival in Lerici
The Sounds of the Gulf Festival of classical music in Lerici, Italy, now in its third year, launches Sea of Stories on the Gulf of Poets, a new international series of conversations with leading musicians, writers, filmmakers and other artists from around the world.
The talks will take place during the festival fortnight of 10–24 August 2019, under the artistic direction of the award-winning British writer and cultural journalist Maya Jaggi. Writer, critic, cultural journalist, she has interviewed 14 Nobel prizewinners in literature and her writing on global art and literature appearing in the Financial Times, New York Review of Books and New York Times.
