About this course

English for Academics is for Lecturers, Researchers and PhD students at Upper Intermediate and Advanced level (B2 / C1) who need to improve their written and spoken English skills in an academic context.

The programme will increase your understanding of lectures and conference talks and help you develop well prepared, coherent arguments and skills for directing and influencing decisions. Realistic communicative activities will help you participate in seminars, group discussions and debates and deliver effective presentations with clarity, precision and fluency. You will learn how to plan, organise and write clear, well-structured and accurate texts such as conference papers and abstracts.
